Scott Jenkins fully believes in the growth potential of every human being. With hard work, guidance, and support, all can reach the highest version of themselves. A Child Family Specialist for the past two years, this mantra is Scott’s guiding light. Committed to his own self growth, he brings this enthusiasm and a love for movement to work with him. An active individual, always hiking, climbing, or practicing jiu jitsu, Scott nurtures similar interests held by his clients, often facilitating sports games, trips to the gym or outdoor adventures. Passionate about personal empowerment, Scott aims to lead by example and help those he interacts with find their best self.
Maintaining strong connections through the lenses of harm reduction, restorative justice, and mutual aid, he brings therapeutic trauma-informed services to the forefront of his job. He values the radical ways Evolve Youth Services’ focuses on the healing of an entire family. With much variation in age, gender identity, family dynamics and life experiences, all clients require such an individualized approach. abby appreciates the opportunity to get to know each family and brainstorm which local resources they would most benefit from. “Like tilling soil for a garden bed, each plant may have a different need, a little more water here, more sunlight there, but when tended to carefully, they all have the ability to lay down strong roots to grow and thrive in a nourishing environment.”
